DEBIT BILLING PAYMENT ERROR

Description of Issue

In the Billing module, attempting to process a DEBIT payment for any amount less than the total due results in the error message:

“Amount tendered is less than amount due.” This prevents users from applying partial debit payments.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Open the Billing module.

2. Attempt to make a DEBIT payment for less than the full balance.

3. Observe the error message.

Expected Behavior:

The system should allow partial DEBIT payments and apply the entered amount correctly.

Actual Behavior:

The system rejects partial DEBIT payments with an “Amount tendered is less than amount due” error.
